I always hated that they never gave him a type of surrogate mother figure, even if just for one episode so he could have that feeling of maternal love, Sheldon basically has two, his own who nurtures his emotional side and Lenard's who nurtures his intellectual side.
How Leonard didn’t become a supervillain, is beyond me.
It's amazing how lazy the writers got on BBT, eventually it felt like they hated their characters and wanted them to suffer. No jokes, just punishments for existing.
