  2. I discovered BIGBANG and 2NE1 2009 thru their collaboration somg for an LG mobile endorsement LOLLIPOP 😂. When KPOP is not even relevant in my country, so its BIGBANG and 2NE1 who make it popular in our country with limited internet, illegally download their songs 😂😂😂. I dont know if Im a Dino vip 😂😂😂😂.

  3. We will for sure watch all the 5 parts with you no worries about that. I'll watch a 2 hour video if Bigbang is in it. 😅😂

    💣 💣 💣 💥 💥

  5. I discovered Bigbang in 2010. I first found their sister group 2NE1 (I'm also a Blackjack at heart) and then a bit later I found BB and it was love at first sight. 😍 VIP until whenever 💛 👑

  6. I was alredy into K pop for about 2 years when they debuted in 2006. They beacame one of my faves after Lies and my ultimate love by Sunset Glow and Haru Haru. VIP forever. 💥

  7. You can actually pause the video to fully read the captions/info stated. Coz what's the point of a guide if the infos are not fully taken and absorbed. Some of us are also new to some of the infos given so we'd appreciate it if you pause to read all info instead of just letting it pass by and not be able to read it all

  8. 💥💛💥💛💥💛💥💛💥
Thank you so much for reacting again!
I love seeing you getting into them and appreciating their music 🥰
It warms my VIP heart 💛

I don't know if this was discussed or mentioned but lightsticks were created by GD. He created the Bang Bong, which looks like a flower and a crown, because they're KINGS 👑.

Thank you again! Love to see it!

  9. 💣💥 Wasn't sure which emoji to use..😅 Thanks again for your reaction & appreciation for Big Bang. They were the ones that really got me hooked & sucked into the KPop world. Forever VIP ❤❤

  10. This guide is great! it only goes up to 2009 though , and what its missing is a huge thing – that at the same time as their groups, they had started releasing absolute smash hit solo work that changed the game in their own ways too. maybe they have a part two

  11. 🎉 You've definitely scratched the surface of Bigbang but there's still so much more content to digest.

    Other fun facts:
YGE – first to feature the making of a group on tv. Bigbang TV has all the episodes of their training days (uploaded on YT) and the final formation of the group before debut. Seungri almost didn't make the cut. You'll see how poor YGE was at that time when BB in their teenage yrs. were not even being fed properly by the agency. BB even traveled by public transportation to performances.

*first to post dance practices on YT which is now normal for other groups
*sings Japanese versions of their songs when performing in Japan; rap lines are done in English though since it's hard to do it in Japanese.

*all members can rap – all 4 can rap TOP's parts except his solo Doom Dada (we haven't seem them try. Lol)

*This Love – G Dragon's cool hip hop remake of same name by Maroon 5; YG bought the rights to record and distribute per reports.

*group was reportedly generating 82% of YGE revenue at their height; the new and highly innovative YG building was built using BB's $$$$.

*Lollipop – a commercial song made to promote an LG phone which became iconic because it also featured 2NE1, YG's legendary 2nd gen girl group; the girl group version of BB in terms of musicality and fashion style.

*GD, TOP and Seungri – can beatbox

*loves to change arrangements of their songs at concerts (easy to do it with a live band): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkt41vEDGpA

*GD insisted on a live band to accompany them in their concerts; Band Six, a US based band is basically the in-house band for YG who has also done world tours with 2NE1, GD (solo) and Blackpink.

    Check out:
Acoustic performances – no MR and almost like MTV Unplugged. Here's one of them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUlLgZRJlTU

Happy Together variety show appearance – MADE album promotion. Very funny and lots of inside info about them.

The ActIII M.O.T.T.E documentary – G Dragon's BTS (behind the scenes) of his biggest solo worldwide tour (2018) after MADE world tour and before joining the miitary. You'll see him as Kwon Jiyong, the human side. It is quite sad to see him alone and missing his BB brothers.

White Night documentary – Taeyang's last solo world tour; not as massive as GD's world tour (he likes smaller productions). Lots of very good RnB music.

  12. I discovered BIGBANG in 2006. Their debut year. I wasn't into KPOP back then coz I was an anime fan. So my whole attention is in Japan scene. With limited knowledge of foreign languages, and because of similarity, I thought BIGBANG was a Japanese idol group.

  13. YG, one of the SEO TAIJI AND BOYS members, was the one who formed BIGBANG. So it makes sense that BIGBANG would inherit the same fame as their seniors.

  14. 💥💥💥
Yes. Usually boy groups are for female fans and male fans don't usually like boygroups coz they look and feel feminine but for BIGBANG male fans' ratio is greater than the female fans.

  15. 💥💥💥
True. Rappers back then in kpop groups are members who can't sing or those with less vocal talent. That's why korean hiphop rappers hate them, looked down on them. Until TOP and GDRAGON happened. They became the first rapline in kpop. Coz they were legit rappers in an idol group. Not some less talented member. That's why hiphop/rnb became a big part of kpop. And today's kpop music is proof of that. EDM was also popularized by GDRAGON and BIGBANG in kpop hence kpop today got hiphop/edm tones to it.

  16. Started listening and becoming a VIP when Lies came out. Also the song in the background is a Fools only tears 🙂
