      Kinda weird to think that MK3 can be mixed with other buckles, especially when MK2 can't. A part of me kinda wished that it actually says "Get ready for Boost MK3 and Magnum", instead of just repeating the original sound effect

      Love that they still utilise the "open up" feature of buckle like Boost (MK1/original) and Zombie. It's very satisfying to see and listen to the sound made by those 2 mechanism, feels like they "release" a certain power. Those 2 are my most favorited buckles and this MK9 is totally my new favorite. Also, MK3 still can be used like normal Boost, a 3 in 1 bundle which worth to get.
      Hope Tychoon will still have the spinning one for his final form too.

      A friend once told me that the entire Desire Driver system is an apology for the design failures of the Ziku Driver, in both weight and abuse of its spinning mechanism. That the thickness of previous buckles are now themselves the gimmick pieces, with the belt as a skeleton, and the spinning mechanism is technically optional.
      Geats IX honestly furthers that view, and is itself an apology for the Grand Zi-O Ridewatch, and in many ways, what that should have been in the first place.
      Rather than be one giant thick piece on one side like Mark III here is that further strains the struggling machinery, it splits apart like Zi-O II and covers the main screen like Trinity, creating a new facade with a muuuuuch more balanced weight distribution with a need to spin the belt only once per henshin.

      And WHAT A FACADE! We were all expecting the final form to be kyuubi no kitsune-themed (And I was also right that he would be tenkou-themed too. Last I checked, only heroic kitsune like those that serve Inari get to be divine) and the belt is the best part of that design.
      It integrates the main features of the base belt (Revolve On) and the Boost Buckle (the handles) that it is an evolution of to create a whole new looking belt. Like Magnum and Boost truly fused into one motif.
      Maybe this is my bias towards kitsune talking, but this is probably now my favorite Final Form belt among the collectible-based ones.

      Now…to get my own Desire Driver and Mk IX buckle…
