My dad listened to this song all the time when he was driving us as kids. I only found out the title when I heard it in School Spirits. This song is finally going to get some recognition among the younger generation, I think.
At 0:39 on dresser table there is a hand mirror with something white on it suggesting a line of coke that she just blew (but it's really not). Probably a nod to the boom times of early 80s when it was reserved for the rich and famous.
Watching this in the early 80's as I was 22 years old in my prime I always wanted to go into the city since I lived in North Jersey Clifton. I always wanted that =night life but I never did. 12 years later I secured a job that placed me in the NYC in all areas of NY which I learned the city pretty well, then I started to venture out in the city and loved it. The late 2000's my wife was in trade 2 and all most lost her life on 911 then NYC was starting to get back together then my daughter is a 911 baby and taught her the ropes of NYC now sh is almost 21 I wanted her to have that dream!! Since Coviddddddd happen the city is not to safe but We still go to in !! I.m glad I was able to show her now that she is a City girl !! lol
My mother and I have had dreams, or spiritual encounters of specific family members greeting us ,in our own individual experience in the encounter we each each were taken on a glorious ride or drive ,car or bicycle .boy what a trip it was mysterious , Linda like Alice in wonderland .don't quote me on that because I never cared for the movie or story book I was chicken ! Got to give myself kudos on this comment because it took me forever to complete…but Guess what Guess again because in the end it doesn't even matter. Just kidding that's the most important thing because after all we are most likely created buy minerals and matter…. well anyhow that's all I gotta say about that … The before I finish my lifelong comment let it be known that I love to listen, enjoy and go back from Time to time I was at an early stage in this particular life to have experienced all the music and madness.but what I did get to experience of there must brings back precious memories. Long Live kiss….X's and O's. Because I can't access my emoji symbols access Oh what a night.
