“Yellow Raven”

The yellow raven sipped the air
Of thunder and of rain …
The yellow raven sipped the air
Gentle eyes kissing the rain …

Where do you go, fantastic dreambird?
Take me away to somewhere
Take me away from here!
Where do you go, fantastic dreambird?
Answer to my yearning
Take me away from here!

The firebird began to cry
When the music died away …
The firebird began to cry
And smoke was slowly drifting by …

Where do you go, fantastic dreambird?
Take me away to somewhere
Take me away from here!
Where do you go, fantastic dreambird?
Answer to my yearning
Take me away from here …

  1. I read your comments with interest. My daughter and I tried to capture and convey to you our awe and feelings towards this song through pictures. Its musical approach, an almost unearthing whisper triggering a river of sweet melancholic emotions, that cannot go unnoticed, haunts you. This radically unique song conveys an incomparable, sensitive sense of simplicity in its interpretation. It's not a song for everyone, and it's not a commercial song either. That's why it will remain timeless for its fans.

  2. In those yrs, I was a total dope head. When your in that state of mind, you can’t remember anything. Dope and drugs back in the 70’s was really different. Fentanyl is the big thing in this day and age. I really don’t know what that stuff is. My best old ex guitar players wife, died of fentanyl overdose.

  3. I’am so happy and glad that all you love this great music. No way to convey this stuff to people of this day and age. Only old friends would understand that.

  4. I love all you for your kind comments. At least I know there’s a lot of really nice kind of people out there.

  5. This is funny, I’ve been recently diagnosed with dementia. But when I go to bed late at night, my long-term memory is in over-gear.

This, and "PLANET CARAVAN" of Pantera's Black Sabbath cover is all it takes to elevate to 7th heaven after sniffing amphetamine somewhere here in the middle east!
