I questioned would the fireball feint recover quick enough to anti air after the jump, I have my answer now. Probably hard to pull off though.
This drive gauge system is revolutionary and The fact that you can start a match with the full gauge is genius. I'm sure MK 1 and Tekken 8 will also be great games but they have to bring innovation just like Street Fighter 6 just did. We are in the Golden Era of fighting games. Congrats to anyone who bought SF6, Enjoy!

This is a good game despite needing a Capcom I'd to play online
The changes they made to Dee Jay serve almost no benefit IMO. The Air Slasher feint is fool's gold. The recovery time is marginally faster, but the slower Air Slasher speed that the light version used to have was clutch for helping him approach a bit more safely in past games and losing that really stings. Losing the light Sobat kick and light Jackknife also sucks, because now you have to either commit fully to the non safe versions, or do 0 damage at all if you choose the faster recovering light ones. Don't even get me started on the ridiculous change they made to the Supers, where you have to tap the buttons on beat now or else you risk not getting the finishing blow, or possibly even dropping the whole thing? Maybe not the end of the world for offline tournaments where you can master the timing, but who thought that was a good idea for online play? Ultimately it's just one more unnecessary thing to worry about.
The backwards step is cool though, but not at the expense of the other things I mentioned.
Man, DJ is actually very fun to watch, he seems like a Fatal Fury character, that must be why, Cammy is nuts! And it's just the beggining
