Idk about the US, but where I'm from plagiarism lands you in jail. Unfortunately it's not enforced, but it's nice that it's a crime
Honourable? You know whats not honourable? Plagiarism
Forgot how many nerds watch this show š, If he didn't make any money off the plagiarism it doesn't matter. People acting like they didn't copy anyones hw in school š
Allowing dishonor is dishonorable.
If they donāt want to be the ones to call him out, in this case the most honorable thing to do is have Krypke be the one to come forward, since he has the evidence
Can Kripke be trusted? Have these scientists verified the allegations?
Iām a casual viewer but I think Kripke is someone who like to prank and embarrass Sheldon.
If the allegations are false, it would discredit Sheldon and Amy.
What the hell is the morale of this story š
In real academia, people would of turned him in SO FAST!!! Tenure and positions are so hard to get. No way in hell someone wouldn't of snitched on a cheater.
I take a stand against loshon hara
Raj is sooooo cute!
Bruhā¦why does this short pop up
as my class read the Scarlet Letterā¦.that book is boring asf š
This episode always boggled my mind because we are made to think that them not exposing these guys is noble or honorable but itās not. These guys have not only lied and stolen but by accepting tons of grant money under false pretenses outright profited from thievery. They also just by virtue of being put up for the prize stole an opportunity from legitimate scientists and just by becoming Nobel prize candidates could use that clout to plagiarize god knows how many grad students who could serve under them from that clout.
Howard š¤£
I feel like it would only be ethically wrong if they made a big deal about who exposed the plagiarism.
Guru Pitka
Should have tried 99 luft balloons
Havenāt seen the ep yet
But fact check to be sure itās true, and confront him. If you feel a big enough sense of betrayal at turning him in, give him a chance to bow out.
Scarlet letter A…bad girls
Hawthorne weeps for us ..š
Yeah, and then there is self-plagiarism. You know, where you copy yourself..? lol
Raj is right !
Next episode, we know who murdered that innocent child, but is okay to expose him to the law?
šššš, šššš!!!
I hate the big bang theory with a passion, but I'm glad Sheldon got a spin off series.
If someone can make a vaguely racist complement so perfectly balanced, is got to be Sheldon š
Everyone just stops ššš
I love Scarlet Letter so much that Prynne is a strong contender for my daughterās middle name. I can, however, understand that one might miss the soap opera level of drama and excitement in all the comma splices and older language.
šš "That's how i got my taste for bad girls"
That book was about everyone dissing the mom and kid when the preist should've suffered instead.
The Hindus are truly wise. I can understand the confusion. LoL
Yesā¦but it may just b the Indian accentššššš
Leonard's little stutter….th th th that's where…
