  1. Forgot how many nerds watch this show šŸ˜‚, If he didn't make any money off the plagiarism it doesn't matter. People acting like they didn't copy anyones hw in school šŸ˜‚

  2. If they donā€™t want to be the ones to call him out, in this case the most honorable thing to do is have Krypke be the one to come forward, since he has the evidence

  3. Can Kripke be trusted? Have these scientists verified the allegations?
Iā€™m a casual viewer but I think Kripke is someone who like to prank and embarrass Sheldon.
If the allegations are false, it would discredit Sheldon and Amy.

  4. In real academia, people would of turned him in SO FAST!!! Tenure and positions are so hard to get. No way in hell someone wouldn't of snitched on a cheater.

  5. This episode always boggled my mind because we are made to think that them not exposing these guys is noble or honorable but itā€™s not. These guys have not only lied and stolen but by accepting tons of grant money under false pretenses outright profited from thievery. They also just by virtue of being put up for the prize stole an opportunity from legitimate scientists and just by becoming Nobel prize candidates could use that clout to plagiarize god knows how many grad students who could serve under them from that clout.

  6. Havenā€™t seen the ep yet
But fact check to be sure itā€™s true, and confront him. If you feel a big enough sense of betrayal at turning him in, give him a chance to bow out.

  7. I love Scarlet Letter so much that Prynne is a strong contender for my daughterā€™s middle name. I can, however, understand that one might miss the soap opera level of drama and excitement in all the comma splices and older language.

  8. šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ "That's how i got my taste for bad girls"

That book was about everyone dissing the mom and kid when the preist should've suffered instead.
