  1. One of the few players in MLB that I would pay to watch play the game today. He plays like Fernando Tatis did until he got hurt and got paid.

  2. I don't like how, in other plays, a misjudged line drive that is 1 inch away from an out can be counted as a home run. But in this play, a triple off the base of the wall, where the speed puts pressure on the defense is a triple plus an error. In my book Elly earned that run. If you want to give him a triple and a SB, that'd be alright with me.

  4. let's relax. the only reason inside the home run happens is because the defence broke down. it starts with the outfielders misreading the ball. No human can round the bases if the outfielders does not screw up.

  5. Actually that was ruled a triple and advanced to home on an error. I was at that game and I too thought it was an inside the park home run until I seen on the scoreboard what the ruling was. Either way, his speed is incredible and that’s what made the play so great.

  6. He got my attention when he beat his own grounder to First Base. The team caught fire in June after he was called up, the dugout was different, loose after that, but the AllStar break dampened the winning. He should have a long career…The Reds led the league in stolen bases….. Now, about their pitching… 😳
