I love her vocals. Her voice is something that should really be appreciated more. I feel like every time she gets even the slightest bit of prominence, people in the fandom and outside of it start pulling her down. Like, Damn, doesn't she deserve to be praised for the talent she obviously has? She deserves all the praise in the world.
Chaeryeong's vocal was always good but she can't really showcase it because of their concept. If she debute in a girly concept group she'll stand out so much. But I'm happy she's now getting the recognition she deserves.
I don't get why Jyp had to remove her lead vocalist and lead rapper position. On top of that, despite her being the main dancer, she's never really been treated like a main dancer in their title tracks. It just shows how much jyp entertainment or whoever manages them tried to surpress her talents from showing. Getting little lines that aren't stand out like other members, her screen time was so little (annoying that her scenes moved too freaking fast, especially in loco). Now the fandom (or solo stans) are trying to undervalue her talents whether it's her main dancer position, her vocals skills, or her stage presence and they undermine the hate she faces. It's so freaking annoying. In every comment that she's been praised, yuna and Ryujin fans say she's a worse singer than them, blah blah. Be honest to yourselves people. Yuna and Ryujin are good rappers but please stop being biased about their vocal skills. Yeji, lia and Chaeryeong are much better at vocals. And Yuna and Ryujin are the best rappers. Let's give the credits where it's due

My favorite chaeryeong's high note was Cheshire! 👌😘
i think the “oooh” in 0:08 is not chaeryeong’s but yeji’s voice?
Her 'Ringo' is fire tho
“Sub vocal”
so this prove Lia can't hit the high note? 😂
I hope people realize that most of those highnotes were straind af.
Highnotes ≠ good singing.
I love her sm <333
Reason why Chae shouldn’t be just a sub vocal but a lead, and Yeji should be a main.
mr vampire sound strained even on studio
If only lia does highnotes 😢
And shes not even a Lead Vocalist.
i love my pookie so much! in blueming (cover) were there high notes too? or not?
YOU FORGOT !! Her prechorus in Icy
chaery 🫶🫶
The fact that she got the position as sub vocalist but still slays in all the high note she deserves atleast lead vocalist 😊
My bais💗she is so talented😇💗
Mind y’all she’s itzys sub vocalist.(which is crazy)
