I am not as sound player as these genuises but I'd suggest Japanese player to work on different services which could result into a cash point. Doing one kind of serve throughout the game doesn't result into anything. This Japanese player is playing nice shots & giving tough competition but if he'd improve in Ball placement at different spots on table instead of just returning to opponent casually, I think He'd get points easily. He is playing hard but Not tricky which is the only thing he lacks. This is My suggestion & may not be true for the player!
This is the best table tennis you can get! Both deserve it.
