Many a day I proudly stated a girl for me ain't been created but here I am baby.
If elegance could be bottled, it would be called Nancy Wilson.
Queen Nancy Wilson &Gloria Lynn, my favorite female performers, [saw them many times]that I've had the pleasure of seeing,Billie Holiday was my heartbeat, all praises for their gifts in my youthful experience……
I seen Miss Wilson at the Oakdale theater in Connecticut in the 70s. Phenomenal performance
I discovered Nancy Wilson in the early eighties (yes, I was late to the party and I know she was around long before that) and as I am a huge fan of jazz, especially jazz vocals, she quickly became a favorite. I'm 66 now and she's still up there for me, so elegant, so beautiful and such a powerhouse! I will always love you Nancy!! 💕
The one and only Nancy Wilson. What a national treasure!!!!!⭐️❤️
Highly underrated Nancy Wilson….was terrific and Guess Who I Saw Today,,,,is one of my favorites
This is the Nancy I learned to love–a unique spin on standards by an amazing albeit "natural" musician. The other video–same dress, festival and stage–is basically "smooth jazz," candified, teen-bopper "soul jazz" that gets old in a hurry ( and tempts Nancy to blow out her pipes). I don't blame for for seeking a wider audience–she deserved it. But if only she had stuck to the Songbook (or the tunes by Bill Withers, like "Hello, Like Before.")
Love her. My Dad turned me on to jazz at 8 and it will always be my favorite genre of music. REAL MUSIC
I concur at age 90<
I am 9”0+ and bemoan the fact that I will need many more life times to sate myself l.n
😅
THERE'S A LADY IN TOWN
THEY CALLED
FANCY NANCY
AND I CAN'T FORGET CATCHING HER IN SAN FRANCISCO SINGING
MRS.OTIS REGRETS AND THE FOLKS WHO LIVE ON THE HILL❤❤❤
I love Nancy Wilson.
Her style.
Her choice of projects.
How "at ease" she would steel herself, to be able to get on a stage, put herself out there for the world, and the occasional weirdo, who might decide to dis her. Not that a thinking individual would ever do such a thing, but you never know who's in the audience.
Everything she did, she was always what people would point to when they say s/he is very much an extremely skilled, accomplished, nay I must say, a "consummate professional". Giving us, (you&me), what we love to see and crave to listen to.
Bless you NW, you'll be loved forever.

I think she was called the Babe or Baby But if ever there was a class act it was Ms. Nancy Wilson❤❤❤
Lovely, talented and classy woman. There's no one like her. She's surely missed.
God, I love her.
❤❤❤ elegant is her middle name
The best breath control I've ever seen/heard. Few understand the phenomenal power she had. Her stabs, trills, rolls, fills, hiccups, growls, etc are perfectly placed and used. She fills the venue with sound and she's only working with a tiro yet with her it has the power of a full band. She rocked this set. I can't believe this year was never released on CD or lp. Unless I missed something.
❤🌹🌹
She was a first !!! Wooow ! Loved her talent !!! Sure gave us a lot !!! ❤👏👏👏!!! Lots of nice energy in her unique light we got to be with to add to us all together 💕❤ Loved her Base guy !!! Really very goood !!! Great Band !!! Her songs are like an entire movie the way she sings them ! Wow !! She has us living them !
These songs make me realize how serious I was crushing on Nancy Wilson ever since I've heard her sing. Her beauty is all her own, no matter what the age. Her voice is her own, like miles, and trane and all the greatest were their own. I'm jealous of any man who shared her space anywhere in the world. Not to mention the fathers of her children. I would've married this woman on her death bed. Thanks for showcasing her on YouTube.
❤moi aussi je l’ai découverte à sa mort lors d’une émission de China Moses sur tsf jazz❤
Elle est très présente à travers ses vidéos, elle vibre Amour inconditionnel ❤❤❤
