Not gonna lie, this song still hasn't grown on me… I think it's the engineering and arrangement of the melody and choice of instrumentation. Lyrically it's meaningful and I like the title. And I can totally relate to the song's meaning, but the songs on "Layover" and a lot of his other solo work were better for me. I think I'd like to hear an acapella or acoustic version instead. I'll scour YouTube to see if anyone has put their own unique spin on this song.
