I cant help but think of Top Gear every time I listen to this.
Happy Birthday Sir Richard
Dickie Betts is one of my favourite guitarists ever, at least as far as Southern Rock goes.I so adore his sound and guitar tone!
MAN !! Could dem fuckers Jam or What ? 😄🤘🎸🔉🎶🎵🎶
Top ten greatest instrumentals ever recorded?? I think so.
7 nutters obviously whacked out
that note at 1:25, then the look on Greg Allman's face. funny.
😀
Damn, I was at this show with my buddy Gidge & my brother Joe. Where has the time gone.
We saw this performed in Aug. 1972, RFK Stad. in DC. 1st time out on tour &, release of Bros. & Sisters. A Park Guard in the light tower, pulling duty, simply took his hat off & cast it to his side in wonderment, when the finale crescendo ended this piece, Jessica. Awesome.
Dickey Betts the best rock guitarist ever!
Dickey Betts created this tune at home, and named it after his little girl because she liked the way it made her hop around.
That bass player really wants to get noticed.
Just a really good jam session, played from the heart and soul. Cheers!
I miss Barry Oakley
Thank God Mike Lawler didn't get a chance to ruin this song with that infamous key-tar of his.
Butch Trucks is in the driver's seat, good lord!
The official sound of driving from southern georgia to north florida. Much love to the pan handle for creating such great music. I dont know whats in that water
Dickies command of that guitar always amazes me. Most guitarist handle their les paul like its a co star. Dickie owns that thing
Thank you
Popularised in the UK by Roger Scott on Capital Radio – the hold music for "The Phantom Phonebox"
This is my generations.Cliffs of Dover” Guy next to Greg is Dangerous Dan Toler, talk about that word under rated. He replaced arguably the best player in Rock Duane Allman in ABB Played with Greg and his solo band and with Dickie in Great Southern. Yet ask most people and they never heard of him.
