      I feel that YGE is planning to sort of kinda rebrand…to improve their image etc…with all the scandals they had the past years…and no longer being the BIG 3…..my guess is that they r trying to push their top artists to TBL….with the movements of the top artists…they'll definitely get more investors….thus helping TBL to grow n be d next new 'YG'….while GD remains in YG…to sort of be d 'leader' n to help oversee the new generation artist…treasure n d new gg….I dunno…it's just my thoughts with what's going on right now….after all they r still under d same big company…at least to me once a YG fam/stan…always a YG fam/stan….

      I'm honest, I only love Blackpink and I've been patient with YG's crappy treatments for so long. No matter how good their rookie group is, I don't care. Because I'm sick of the bad management of YG . When artists are hated for no reason, YG is the last K-pop industry. to start protecting artists. For example, Lisa received death threats. They were so indifferent that the Thai embassy had to send a letter to YG. And I believe that many fans are tired of YG's management, no BP is over and I will say that BLINK is with blackpink only.

      I think the change is in a different way "shut down" Teddy, and work with other producers, more envolved in lyrics i'm sure they have a lot (Jennie had a book-she like darker stuff so…)… and stay at YG.

      BlackLabel is associated with YG, not a wholly-owned sub since I believe YG only own 30% of BlackLabel, but nevertheless there is an association. Currently YG owns 100% of the BLACKPINK trademark and other IP. That's right, the Pinks do not own the name Blackpink. If BP leaves YG they would in essence no longer be BP, they would likely have to disband . YG isn't going to just give away the trademark, YG would insist on a licensing agreement along with a royalties with whichever new label BP decided to go with, this ultimately could prove to be cost prohibitive for the new label and thus unlikely to happen. With a transition to BlackLabel its conceivable that YG is willing to allow use of the trademark and IP (for a reasonable fee or maybe for no fee at all) in exchange for profit sharing on-top of their 30% ownership of BlackLabel, this really would be a win-win for everyone. This would allow YG to focus resources on the new girl group without abandoning their cash-cow BP.

      I personally have some problems with this, first of all black label is a small company so they might lose popularity but off they can go if they want so maybe go to sm or jyp? Idk. Also they are on world tour and also literally are about to renew their contracts or disband or whatever so uh- maybe not the right time either

      The Black Label is a subsidiary of YG. It's a record label, not an agency. Blackpink's "Born Pink" album was recorded there. Don't worry, Blinks, the girls aren't going away!
