“Professor SUMIOKA, what is TAO?”

TAO is a way or a normal nature-course of things in Eastern Philosophy.

“What’s it all about?”

The Westerners assume everything goes straight to the destination already determined. However, in reality, no road ascending endlessly. If there is an uphill, there is also a downhill. In the first place, the uphill and the downhill is the same.

TAOISM observes things as a combination of YIN and YANG, namely shadow and light. When the descending shadow rides the ascending light, both come closer, harmonize and things rotate well, but in the opposite case, both isolate and things stagnate.

The way is just a way, so everything may get off the track if it likes. However, even if taking some detour, everything eventually comes back on the track because it is a circle.

“What do you think?”

It would be smart to follow the right way, even when ascending or descending.

“Professor SUMIOKA, I got it well, thanks!”
