Irene Cara is 4 years younger than me. We both were born in New York City (Manhattan & BX) in the 50's and we're both Afro Latinos of Puerto Rican ancestry. Hearing about her death yesterday was very shocking to me because I thought of her several days ago. I had a big crush on her after seeing her in the movie, Fame. RIP, Irene, I hope you're at peace in God's Kingdom singing in the Heavenly choir while Gene Anthony Ray is dancing.

I have seen Talented entertainers in my live, weather its Elvis Presley, Bob Marley, Micheal Jackson theirs only one thing they dont have and that she lived the life she wanted to do, she gave everything in everything she pursued, with todays picture theaters and sound systems the irene cara bio pic will be awsome…..Fame was something in midst for her…..but we didn't see it….after the bio pic boom '' we will all remember your name'' our love from Angell family from nz love you Thank You IRENE CARA……..TEARS FALLING NOW…..
