My first time heard this song was from GD's version.. and my thought was "wow, what a jerk" haha.. not GD.. but that man who described in this song..

Taeyang has talked about the lyrics being problematic. Interviewers ask him about it a lot. At the time (2008), he just really liked the song. — I do too. Despite the message. His voice and the melody are beautiful.
Coincidentally, GD has his own version, which was released around the same time: "Only Look At Me Pt. 2."
