Oh My Girl is a South Korean girl group formed by WM Entertainment. They officially debuted on April 20, 2015, with the release of their self-titled extended play, Oh My Girl. Known for their diverse music styles and captivating performances, the group quickly gained popularity both in South Korea and internationally.

Originally debuting with eight members—Hyojung, Mimi, YooA, Seunghee, Jiho, Binnie, Arin, and JinE—the group is currently composed of six members, following JinE’s departure in 2017 due to health issues, and Jiho’s departure in 2022.

Oh My Girl has built a strong reputation for their ethereal and fairy-like concept, which is reflected in their songs and music videos. Their breakout hit “Secret Garden,” released in 2018, marked a turning point in their career, earning them their first music show win and solidifying their status in the K-pop industry. Other popular tracks include “Closer,” “Liar Liar,” “Dolphin,” and “Nonstop,” with the latter two enjoying massive success in 2020.

The group has received numerous awards and nominations, including wins at major music award shows like the Golden Disc Awards and the Melon Music Awards. Oh My Girl is celebrated not just for their music but also for their ability to convey emotional depth and narrative through their performances, making them one of the leading girl groups in K-pop today.
