完全会社推しの上谷の白の防衛記録。確かに上谷は上谷なりに頑張っては居てるが、結局は桃の記録の塗り替えし、その後ちゃんみなが獲得のストーリーが見えるだけに、どう見積もっても白は防衛確定。元来ならハイスピードより白は格上だけど、12.29同様試合展開、結果が見える塩試合より、完全決着戦のハイスピードをメインにするべきだと思う。

This was a good press conference for a few reasons. Also, Giulia's 10-person challenge (10 fighters, 3 mins each) sounds interesting and fun.

Now, the highlight of this press conference for me — WAKA TSUKIYAMA. (25:30 singles with NaeNae. 1:07:40 singles with Giulia)
Tam Nakano's ultimatum has given Waka a much needed boost and quite possibly her most important story in her STARDOM career. I've seen several people bashing Tam and saying she's mean for what she said, calling her a "bad leader" and so on. I'm on the opposite end, I didn't get the impression of what Tam did or said as bad at all. I took it as needed motivation, assertive words – with no sugarcoating or babying – delivered from a leader that cares about her teammates growth. To say Tam never helped is false and ignorant. We know little about the training style and dojo activities of the unit. But on-screen, in nearly every tag match Waka has teamed-up with Tam in, there has always been moments where Tam would do most of the work and open the field up to give Waka the opportunity to get the big win (their NB6 tag match is a good recent example). At moments Tam and the other partner would keep the opponents isolated outside the ring so Waka could pick up a victory without needing too much help. And sometimes there would be an equal amount of effort done from all (including Waka) COSMIC ANGELS members in the match to allow Waka a chance at pinning. Every time, Waka would end up taking a 3-count or submitting. There's something similar happening in STARS with Momo Kohgo struggling. Hazuki has tried helping Momo Kohgo and has shown her frustration, Hanan has shown a lot of support for Momo Kohgo, and Mayu Iwatani has given Kohgo often mixed reactions but visually the cold shoulder several times during and after a match because of her losses and I've seen little to no one call her a bad leader (not saying she should be called that, just pointing out the double standards of a vocal minority). However, when Tam is honest and direct with Waka people seem to suddenly dislike her and say she deserves to see the destruction of her unit. Tam Nakano's words came from a caring place of concern and encouragement. You have to be blind to have seen Waka becoming stagnant, struggling, a consistent losing streak whether singles or tags, very predictable match results, and not think that her improvement would benefit herself and the unit.

Also, now that Mina has returned, it seems she's the only one that has voiced a sensible reaction to all of this. She understands what Tam felt & needed to say, and understands what Waka feels & needs to do. Mina took a more nurturing hands-on approach and maybe that's what Waka needs, or maybe Waka wants a more NaeNae or Giulia style of training and that's why she's reaching out to them for guidance… or maybe she'll benefit from several different mentors and fuse that knowledge and experience to bring forth her own way. Waka ain't stupid. Her actions are bold but I believe she knows what she's doing. Challenging NaeNae and Giulia, she's already made courageous moves, and already her stagnation has dissolved. That's respected. Personally, I say Waka do need to improve in some areas. Winning too, yes, but this story is more than about winning a match. It's her inner journey to find what works for her. And she has to want it herself. That's what Tam, NaeNae, Mina, and now Giulia have said in their own way of saying it. The message is the same: Waka has to discover it.

Say for example: Saki Kashima. We won't get a strong Red and White belt reign from her or some technical wrestling masterpiece, but that's completely fine and okay. She don't need those things because she's her own kind of wrestler. Saki has found what makes her a big star and it works. She's entertaining in & outside the ring, put on good matches (especially good trios matches), has this cool factor about her, and she's built her finisher up to be unpredictable and feared by everyone on the roster. She found that something. My example is similar to what Tam Nakano was communicating to Waka, 'every wrestler has that invisible power within them that makes them their own unique star, you have to find that.' I don't get how some fans can hear that from Tam and comprehend it as being a "bad leader". Yes Waka cried but Waka always crying, it's actually one of her strengths because I honestly can't tell if she's acting (which is good because i'm heavily invested) or if it's her passion spilling out. I always go with the latter because her tears always feel genuine. Those tears have changed and become more silent. Lately I see less tears of defeat & sorrow and more tears of strong desire & will to do. To me, that's a detail of her growth as well.

Outside of wrestling, Waka has a lot of character, a great taste in graphic tees (seriously, i always end up searching for one of her shirts online when she wears them), is beloved by so many, and I think Waka being an interpretor/translator is brilliant, it's so perfect I'm thinking why did it take so long for this to happen 😂. After watching the STARDOM New Year variety games, I realized Waka actually knows the entire COSMIC ANGELS dance, she just don't have rhythm in her hips; it's the only thing missing. Maybe Mina Shirakawa can take her to a Hip Hop dance or Belly Dancing class to get some rhythm, it can be part of Shirakawa's rigorous training she's giving Tsukiyama besides striking, joint work, and other things she probably has planned. I guarantee Waka would look like a completely different person when she's acquired that. These dances can help with core training and footwork which can benefit her smoother movement in the ring. There's reason majority high-flyers have either decent amount of rhythm or some athletic or dancing background.

This is the most I've ever been invested in Waka Tsukiyama and her pro-wrestling, and these coming months will be highly interesting to watch what develops as she progresses in whatever direction she chooses. This makes Waka Tsukiyama a kind of pro-wrestler I've never seen. The fact I wrote these paragraphs is proof she has me captivated.

Amasaki took a beating when she wrestled Giulia at NEW BLOOD, but she seemed very pleased to have had that match in closing of the show (seeing her lean on Giulia for comfort was cute). Maybe it woke something up in her? A fire to turn pain into adrenaline and continue forward? Only those two women know. I think Giulia and NaeNae will give Waka that same feeling.

ソーレーは立ち回りに違和感ありすぎ。無理くりすぎ。こんなんじゃそりゃ人気出ないよ。
一方で桜井はGのお騒がせ理論を継承してよくやってる。正義マン気取りじゃないのが特に良い。
同じとこ出身の外様で実力も大差無い所から始まり、この立ち位置の違い。これは今後を占うだろう。
