Shinee was the first K-pop group I ever listened to it didn't know it way back when. Replay, their debut song, by far is the best debut song ever. Straight up 90s jammy jam. Vocals are on point! ❤️❤️❤️

This video was my first Shinee video, too. I’ve watched a lot of Taemin videos since then. Minho just released a solo album called Chase. Minho’s solo work is mostly in acting. There’s a lot to explore with these guys.

Yaaaas Shinee! Thank you so much for your reaction. That one was Minho not Taemin. They are under SM entertainment and debuted in 2008 when they were just teenagers. Taemin was 14.

Their debut video Replay is considered one of the best kpop debuts. Definitely a must as well as another kpop legendary group BigBang.
Your video popped up in my Home page so of course I had to watch. I love kpop and it was Taemin that drew me to kpop and then I got into Stray Kids and later found out Taemin was in Shinee. Believe it or not, Taemin was not a good singer when he debuted as an Idol at the age of 14. Everyone knew it even the guys in the group. Taemin was brought into the SM company bc of his dancing skills at age 12. To this day Taemin is called the Michael Jackson of Kpop. It was by his own efforts Taemin developed his singing voice. No one train him, the company wouldn't hire someone to train him bc his voice was going through puberty and he was written off as being tone deaf. There are a few videos of Taemin's vocal growth from 2008 when he debut to the present day. His voice is beautiful! He also learned to play piano on his own and is really good! I see you did a reaction to his song Adivce which I will of course watch.
If you get the chance watch their debut song from 2008 "Replay." It was an instant hit for them and many kpop Idols cover the song as a right of passage so to speak. They are the Princes of Kpop, their concerts sound just like their cds. They have trained really hard to be able to sing and dance live and not have to rely on lip-syncing and only do so when they absolutely have to.
Taemin debut with Shinee at 14 and is still with Shinee but is in the Military but will be out in the next few months. Taemin is also a solo artist and he is also in the group SuperM which is comprised of Idols from different SM Entertainment kpop groups. There are 4 in Shinee but to fans and the members, there will always be a 5 member group.
Shinee, a 2nd gen kpop group debuted at a much younger age than many of their contemporary kpop artists, so they are about the same age as many 3rd or 4th gen groups. Their maturity stems from being active since 2008, but also breaking a lot of barriers that came with being a "manufactured" pop group (by writing/ composing/ producing their own music, cultivating their own image and visuals etc.) Shinee was the best at experimenting, while maintaining their own sound and brand. They paved the way for a lot of the groups that followed.
SHINee 5 is why I got into Kpop 13years ago. These man are the OG kpop kings <3

One thing that bothers me about people who have channels like this is you do NO research before listening. These guys are called The Princes of K-POP. Taemin has been called for years the King of K-POP. He is the best dancer in K-POP and a great singer. The guy who came in the door first was Minho. He is lead rapper and writes it. Sometimes, the guy with the feathers, Key, does rap as well. The guy with the white bandana on his head is Taemin. The other guy who is the leader and lead singer of the group is Onew. This is the first Hip Hop song they have ever done in 14 years. Their genre is Contemporary R&B. This is one of the best K-POP groups you will ever hear. They are FAMOUS. They are having a comeback this year because Taemin has been in the military and is getting out. Military is mandatory in So. Korea. Please do some reading about them.
To think Jonghyun was the main vocalist in a group with these beasts on is quite an achievement. You should definitely hear him too.
Shinee are incredible with everything they do, from their job to Halloween costumes, they take everything seriously. Older groups do have more experience, but Shinee also keep up with gen 4 in everything, maybe except for the rap parts. Then again their rappers are mostly singers.
