disc injuries are very difficult to treat. i doubt he'll be fully able to recover, so he shouldn't be doing dangerous choreography that could potentially worsen his injury:( its amazing that he can keep going in spite of his injury tho… he has a strong personality
Hey I have the same issue as taeyong. And i have had surgery at 15 as my disk completely fell off.
Sometimes you can do everything but once in a while you get flare ups and there's nothing you can do but deal with it. Unfortunately that's how it'll be.
For me the lock down caused me to stop walking as much which led my spine to degrees ro the point I had to relearn to walk as I couldn't walk further than 300 metres. I literally spent 5 weeks everyday at night learning painfully how to walk again. Stopping all the time, applying pain cream, Continuing.
The only thing that improves your back is doing exercise and continuing to move. Which sounds counter intuitive as sometimes it can lead to pain
I hope Taeyong gets well soon😭 and SM must give him a break and give Taeyong better care and I really hope Taeyong also eats well too… recently Taeyong said a dance move from their Ay-yo choreography hurts his back and I tried it since I also have back pain and he was right…my back hurt from doing that dance move😩 I cried while watching this😭💚🌹We love you Taeyong

I’m not a NJ stan but Ditto it’s so good, records are made to be broken. I don’t think Hybe could imagine this type of success for NJ, their music hit the heart of everybody. Personally I like their music and I almost only know the name of 2 of the girls, I’m more interesting in their music that in the members and I think this I a positive thing.

I think Newjeans popularity is deserved because they are talented and have good songs. Also, a lot of people like them so them being on charts is different from fans streaming and newjeans fans seem to not be toxic at all since the public is so large. So I love it.

We're all understandably worried about the Loona members, but I'm also really concerned about Min, Yeyoung,Sion ,and any other trainees not publicly announced in the Bebez lineup. There's no way BBC will debut them now (they have no money) and even if somehow they did, nobody will support any group under BBC.
sm needs to get their act together. they overwork their artists a lot ESPECIALLY nct cause you have several of the guys who are in multiple groups so they get no real break because if one isn't putting out music tours etc another is….lot of use haechan, now taeyong, even mark will be to you when you ruin their health to where they can't perform. these boys write them some good ass paychecks so they ought to have the respect to let them rest if they need to rest and not overwork them into illness.

In regards to NewJeans, I don't think there is shadiness at play, just decent music and good marketing. I also think it's too soon to call for NewJeans, as while they are currently looking the be the new successor to monster groups like BTS and Blackpink, we can't forget a lot of this is hype and momentum coming from hit after hit. Their storyline gimmick is the big draw, not necessarily the music or the girls themselves, which makes me worry. People are always talking about the visuals, not the music or the individual girls – which is a bad thing if you're a music group. If they basically are just actors for the k-drama that their storyline has created, and this might hurt them in the long run, even if the short-term is so successful. What I'd like to see from them is some side-content that breaks away from all that and just let the girls showcase themselves without all that. If they can establish themselves on being more than just a phase and a legit group, THEN I think it'll be time to crown them. I personally think they have the talent and tunes to do this, but they really are being overshadowed by the wave of fandom hype and their gimmick. (In other words, go too hard for too long and you'll get burn out and fatigue. I don't want this to happen). I think Ditto and OMG proves they have good songs outside the music videos, but also scares me how closely tied they are to the visuals. Please, HYBE, take a step back and think the longterm and don't let these girls burn out in a flash whenever the public jumps on the latest trend.

Before I watched this, I was gonna state that Taeyong has had back problems for many years. I'm not sure if it's something that requires surgery but back problems are very difficult to just fix. Just resting is not going to do it. It will only provide a temporary fix and TY has a job that requires physical activity. So it's gonna be an on going problem. Also I know that it was translated as paralysis but it probably is more like numbness.
This sucks, as someone ego had been going through extreme back pain since I was 8 and after suffering from 16 years, I can understand the frustration and pain, I hope he gets to see a physiotherapist more often now!
