  1. Jimin's unique voice, charisma and stage presence really elevated this song in my opinion. I really liked how both artists complemented each other, and from the behind the scenes interviews and also old Bangtan Bombs you could see how trully of a fan Jimin is of Taeyung, and that is so cute. Really glad for him that he got to collaborate with his idol. All his solos from BTS albums have such an unique flavour to them, and in his live performances of those songs he has such incredible coreographies…that make me so much more excited for his upcoming solo album, and for what he has in store for us. If you desire to dive deeper in Jimin's solo songs, you should deff check out Lie, Serendipity and Filter. But you should also check the Vocal line songs, that really highlight their vocals like – House of Cards, The Truth Untold, Dimple and Zero o'clock. Sorry if I got a little carried away 😊

  2. Taeyang was an Idol that Jimin looked up to even before his Debut and wanted to be like. He is a huge fan of his and for him to be able to meet Taeyang and work with him on this song was a wonderful thing for him. You should watch the video from Suga's new show "Suchwita", where he had Taeyang as a guest when the song came out. It is soooo cute how even he is awestruck by him during the whole show. Please watch this if you have the time, i think you and the viewers would really enjoy it.

  3. I know what you mean about recognizing the "comeback" sound and how it dates you. It's like how I let my daughter know about the original songs that many Western songs nowadays sample. I remember when I didn't know … 😆😆

  4. Hi guys. As always, I loved your reaction. Helps you being musicians. We can learn a lot with your comments. I also want to say something to Septa, your eyes are beautiful 😍
And I love you both as a couple. You seem like such cool guys. As I said before, I wanna hang out with you sometime 😉. I can see you're proud of Jimin too. Borahae 💜💜💜

  5. Here is how I see this collab & where it might possibly go in the future … the KPop idol industry comes in "generations". Each era is roughly every 10 years, at least for now. There are also inbetween generations, i.e. x.5, such as 1.5 & 3.5. These generations are usually marked by certain types of achievements. BigBang/Taeyang (YG Entertainment) debuted over 15 years ago & are considered 2nd-gen. BTS is considered 3rd-gen. Taeyang was age 18 upon debut. He is now around 34. So yes, as a relatively "senior" band, BigBang are looked up to by BTS because BigBang had already been around making music for about 7 years before BTS debuted themselves. It would kind of be similar to a rock band from the early 1980's collabing with a rock band from the early 1990's. Or like when Paul McCartney & Michael Jackson, 2 artists debuting from different eras, with a 16-year age gap, collabed for "Say Say Say" & "Ebony & Ivory". Of course the age gap between Taeyang & Jimin is only half that. Taeyang did not recently renew with YG, so is now considered a solo artist under a relative associated label under YG. This freedom is partly one reason Taeyang was able to collaborate with Jimin, as before they were bands from rival competing labels. However, Taeyang is also considered still part of the BigBang family. What this could potentially mean is that he could still make music as part of BigBang, but no one knows for sure.
With a collab like this, it is remotely possible that more multi-label ventures between YG & Hybe could happen in the future, once BTS returns as a band by 2025. What could this mean? Well, not just more collabs with Taeyang, but also other YG-related bands, such as BlackPink. BTS & Blackpink are the 2 biggest KPop bands in the world right now, with Blackpink being somewhat of a distant second (fans will say otherwise, but I'm not hating, heh), but still bigger than other groups. So to have a collab by these 2 bands could also be even bigger & a shock. This collab song with Jimin & Taeyang was already considered a surprise & a success, so now it wouldn't be a surprise for more of it in the future. And btw, the 4th-gen is already upon us, with a lot of their goals paved by BTS, such as targeting a global market as more of a priority. Of course, all of this could not have happened without Seo Taiji first. Maybe one day in a far off generation, KPop may hopefully come full circle & also start playing instruments, just as their "Father", Seo Taiji, originally did & thus we will see some groups of future KPop as a "genre" that not only dances & sings/raps just as right now, but also plays music instruments. Think of it as a new upgraded version of The Jackson 5, who did all of those 3 things in the 1970's. Or 4 things if a lot of KPop groups also wrote & produced their own songs & albums. We shall have see where the Butterfly effect goes. As BTS once said, that "moment is yet to come. "
Finally, you guys mentioned not being "fashionable". I am not fashionable either but I am aware of what BTS has worn over the years. I would suggest you watch, possibly react, to some of the videos of BTS being in the fashion industry, such as videos of them for Luis Vitton, Dior & Valentino etc. Of course, BTS has also worn Versace & Hood by Air earlier in their career.

  6. So proud of Jimin. Both Taeyang and Jimin’s chemistry is undeniable here and they both sound great together and by themselves. Who knew these 2 would make such an excellent duo. This MV compliments and focuses on their talent and visuals. Thank you for the reaction! 💜

  7. You mentioned that the choreo was kind of chill. In his interview with Suga, Taeyang said that the dance is somewhere between full choreo and freestyle. (That probably stressed Jimin out, because he's so meticulous). But I think it makes the dance seem like more of a "vibe" than a choreography.

  8. I like it; I'm always on the hunt for an uplifting song.
I agree with other comments, watch the live, the behind the scenes, and Suga's interview with Taeyang. In the interview Suga brings up the harsh reality of dealing with public opinion/perception (faced by all people in the public eye). Heart breaking. Taeyang and Jimin seemed to really enjoy working together and demonstrated much mutual respect.

  9. I’m a VIP and Army and I’ve always thought Taeyang and Jimin would make an excellent song together and I was right. Taeyang is a legend by the way, a member of the legendary group Big Bang, of whom BTS are big fans. It’s so cool to see them working together, Suga did an episode of Suchwita with Taeyang and it was a trip.

  10. In behind the scenes "making of" stuff they seem to get along really well, it actually makes me quite happy for both of them. The live version is even better for me.
