  1. I know someone that was in the gallery and you are very wrong about the response of the jury was displaying..Also FitsNews was in there and they said that the jury had a positive reaction towards the Prosecutor.. Obviously,I have no clue what this jury's will be but if not guilty then I will be shocked simply because of the timeline..I agree that you sound very pro defense and that is my opinion that I will continue to standby..

  2. The investigation was poor. Scale of 1 to 10; 1 for showing up. Prosecution has not proven guilt. I would, therefore, vote NG and hate it. I have a feeling he could be guilty, but… I also think he had a motive. BTW, the Netflix documentary was interesting. I appreciate you, Peter. You are my favorite legal analyst.

  3. Oh Murdaugh seems to be on his own here. His two main lawyers sitting like spectators, mostly. Little protection against Waters who reaches and twists at times. But Murdaugh seems to be up to it.

  4. Why has no one brought up that anyone (multiple) could have been hiding out at the property and would have kill Alex if he didn’t leave. How do we know they weren’t coming for Paul and Maggie was there too? It’s almost like no one will even consider anyone else doing this, anyone hiding out and waiting, there being two people with two different guns to pull this off, and that it could even be anyone who knew the property in general. Alex didn’t have any GSR, blood, or any phones/steps together at the same time. Bottom line.

  5. Thank you Peter for your love of the law, for being unbiased, your honesty, and integrity. It's too bad that this Court has forgotten all of that and allowed it to become a circus. "The symbol of our Judicial System is Lady Justice: Lady Justice is blindfolded because justice is unbiased and should not be based on a person's appearance or other outside influences. Lady Justice holds scales to represent the impartiality of the court's decisions and a sword as a symbol of the power of justice."

  6. Ok so I’m going to say something that no one has said but is the steps on the watch? Or jus the phone? Because- sitting on the couch and playing a self
Satisfying movie and doing something to himself … I mean 🤷🏻‍♀️

  7. Thank you Peter. I've followed this daily and tried to keep an open mind, I observed both arguments & AM on the stand. It's up to the jury, but your lawyer logic is bang on IMO. The way you clipped it and laid it out, I thought yes, yes and YES. STILL there is reasonable doubt……. SO well done 🙂 xx

  8. Alec knew about the kennel video since august 11th interview. I don’t understand why waters is saying he didn’t know until the trial.

  9. Since we do get YouTube let’s say Buste allegedly killed the young man years prior. Maggies dogs allegedly kills the housekeeper and Paul allegedly kills the young girl in a boating accident. What’s the difference? Only one got caught which allegedly was Paul. Alec has yet to have been proven that he allegedly killed Maggie and Paul. And now the young man’s case has been reopened so the DA is going after Buster. Crime family hiding behind the cover of South Carolina law practice. How to get away with murders and money laundering. Great crime family should be a movie about this one. hee hee

  10. I find it hilarious that waters is pressing on 4 minutes when he himself has time blindness, I mean apparently Friday was going to be no more than 4 hours… 8 hours later….🤣ironic

  11. Why is no one mentioning how unlikable the DA was being? I was shocked how few objections there were from defense attorneys and how they seemed to be always overruled. If he is on trial for murder, why were they allowed hound that him so much on the financial crimes? I see the opiate addiction, but…

  12. I’ve been on opiates for 20 years too. I’ve never abused them. My prescription says to take one or two every 4-6 hrs as needed for pain. I’ve never run out and I’ve never taken 3 at one time. I’ve been on the same dose for almost a decade and I’ll admit, it’s getting harder to control my pain. Tolerance is a real issue!

  13. I don't know if he killed his family. I'd have to vote not guilty. I do think he knows more than he is saying. Either he did it, caused it, or knows who did it, but the prosecution hasn't proven murder.

  14. I def agree with you. I have watched this from the start!! I know he is not a morally good person, but I think he will be found Not Guilty!!! Not enough evidence against him. I’m on the fence.

  15. It's so easy for people to forget during a trial that a person is innocent until proved guilty. Character deficits don't prove a person is guilty of murder.

  16. My honest opinion I couldn’t tell Watters wasn’t Murdoch’s defense attorney if I wasn’t looking at the screen. Watters hasn’t proven Murdoch did it. Actually he helped Murdoch’s alibi

  17. Peter I watch a cbs baseball podcast that has been around for years. They have 15,000 viewers and get like 200 likes. During the season they do a podcast 6 days a week with 3 dudes. I can’t believe how big you are in comparison.

  18. Bet you 10 to 1: Mistrial! This is another OJ Simpson. He did not do it but he knows who did it… I too thought he was guilty in the beginning. The prosecution's case has been very weak and it isn't Peter's fault

  19. I'm just speculating.

I think AM wasn't the shooter, but I feel he knows damn well who did.

It's possibly the first time AM wasn't able to use money to fix things.

  20. I believe the state has proved their case, and so do all the defense attorneys on Surviving the survivor podcast, they proved it could not be anyone else as well. I’m curious as to what your dad would say since he is the criminal attorney.

  21. If you listen to the actual context the prosecution was referring to the kennel evidence. AM referred to the things in his story that he changed, that’s the kennel stuff not the financial stuff. Creighton was correct. BTW I don’t think you’re biased.

  22. I take prescription oxycodone and morphine for my back. I have been taking them since 2008. Neither of those give me energy it only helps to be able to get around. Maybe there is a difference in taking drugs for pain and recreational. I agree with with Alec on having to take the drug as soon as u get up. If not u will start withdrawals. I can’t believe he is taking that many pills a day. I know some people will not agree with me but I think Alec is GUILTY. The data from the car and the deleted phone messages. Myself I think Alec has diarrhea if the mouth. He needs to answer the questions and then shut up.

  23. I agree with you 100%. There are so many things that I hate about Alex and his family. The big question for me is how he didn’t hear the gunshots If he wasn’t there. He lacks credibility. But there are so many unanswered questions. I also think the investigation was incomplete bc it was about THIS family.

  24. Thoughts? Paul took pills from Alex, Alex went to the kennels to get them back, Paul wouldn't hand them over and because Alex was at the height of withdrawals he was desperate and would do anything to get his pills, including shooting Paul and Maggie. I think that explains why Alex tried to turn Paul over by the belt loops, to get his pills back out of Paul's pocket 🤔

  25. My question is, how does Alex not have any liver or kidney problems for popping so many pills for a couple of decades. Unless I missed that part, I haven't heard anything.

  26. I have never been addicted to opiods but whenever I've had a surgery and they have been prescribed I have the same response. I would not get drowsy – I would get more energy and whenever I've taken Nyquil it keeps me awake with "busy legs". Don't like any of it!

  27. I don’t like when any lawyer starts acting arrogant and condescending to the witness. I think AM is a horrible person but the way that Waters was talking to him made me not like Waters.
