Nobody cares
nothing new , everytime yg doing a new group debut, Haters do something to ruin the debut group cause they know YG groups gets famous really fast and can outshines other groups . NOTHING NEW.
why need to dig old vids ? so they can see a Flaws to ruin the Group .
Ahyeon hasn't even debuted and she already has a n word scandal? Eew I'm definitely good on babymonster
I know it's to protect the victim, but I really wish they would identify the idol. That way I can avoid anything he ever does.
Edit: Also, she sang along to the lyrics of a song she liked. She didn't use the word against anyone. I grow incredibly tired of people blowing things out of proportion, and then those same people being confused as to how their behavior is actually what helps perpetuate actual racism.
Does anyone in here knew that in Japan there are different types of sentences depending on whether or not the victim was awake during the rape act?? apparently if the victim is awake the jail time is shorter. This is a problem that happens in every part of Asia, not only SK. Ppl need to understand they never gonna change their laws because it's not something that will benefit the men. Their culture is a very horroble for women, because they are very conservative and must look perfect to the rest of the world at all cost, they will never allow that something like a woman could ruin their ''future''….
They should watch themselves sometimes
Using the N-word is grossly disrespectful. But in this case, since she is so young, I believe that she is not to blame for this happening, but rather the artists and public figures who continue to use the word. Regardless of your skin color, if you use that word, you are being racist, that includes dark-skinned people and the very definition of the word explains why. The fact that you can't sing the songs of your idols just because of your skin color, country of origin, the way you look, etc… It's just unfair, that word shouldn't be used anymore under any circumstances. Maybe she knows the language but is too young to know about controversial topics, such as politics, economics, and in this case, racism. We must let the young be young, that's why it's wrong for them to debut at such a young age.
You have to protect this girl 🤍
I'm not from an english speaker's country, but from México and i have a dark skin, so I can understand the situation.
GUT ME. Thanks to BigBang and 2NE1 in 2010, I got into kpop. Now both are gone. 😢
In skor rap is only associated with the money and flexing part of the rap culture, there is very less focus given on storytelling and lyricism. Hence they just take it up because it looks cool, so they do not find saying the n word in lyrics problematic.
Big hit canceled traine A because leo said B*tches..
I know idols are put on a pedestal and they're like supposed to be pure. However, you can't blame them for saying the N word when in the West it is being used constantly everyday. To the point it's being constantly used in music it's making it look like it's ok for everyone to use it, also be honest with yourself you say it behind closed doors.
Broooooooo, no! BigBang was and is still is my top kpop group. I mean T.O.P always was more reserved and a solitary person so I shouldn’t be surprised but I am. All the best wishes to him because I still love BigBang together or not together.
Am I understand it right that she sang a song with the correct lyrics before debuted? If the N word is so bad, rappers of color shouldn't use it either. The original creators should be blamed.
Shuhua: yes I'm RUDE!
So no Big Bang in the future anymore….
Although their latest comeback song kinda felt like a goodby song as a whole. Still there was some home thes might come back again some time in the future.
Actually I think leaving Big Bang doesnt make much sense just because it seemed like thes probably be one of those groups that kinda still exists but who knows will ever do music together again.
I hope he has fun on the moon and future projects whatever they may be.
I guess who knows…in the music industry groups disband all the time or someonenis leaving and years later they come back. Maybe we will see them together again 🤷🏻♀️ if not it is what it is but they for sure left a great discography.
All G-idle members give bad vibe.
aespa giselle getting alot of hate cuz she accidentally said the N-word and apologies to fans and said that she will watch her words next time but ahyeon saying the N-word and she's getting protected like whaaaat 😅 it seems Babymonster fans will be the new Blinks version lol they will do anything to protect them even they will say some racist slur or doing something rude as quirky personality 😂
Thats why they call her Boss Baby!
Who cares if she used the "n" word… If Black ppl want others to stop using it, then they should stop it themselves. People are so sensitive these days it's sickening… cream puffs.
Although I do recon that what Ahyeon did was wrong and inexcusable (especially if what she was saying about studying English/rap culture was true) I think people are being a little TOO harsh on a 15/16 year old. What she did was wrong and I think she should 100% apologize but some people are blowing this out of proportion for someone who’s just a teenager
I think at this point, we all have to agree that as long as black people continue to throw around the n-word arbitrarily, we will have situations like this. If the word is so offensive, why do you guys still use it to call one another or use it in your music? And it's audacious of you to expect everyone in this world to know that it's offensive to you.
You either stop using the word altogether or stop getting offended when people use the word accidentally or even on purpose.
And I would also like to add that you are just making the word a powerful tool for haters to use it against you.
Ahyeon sang a cover and included the N word in the song, she most have not known alot of idols got call out for using that word. I hope yg with black american bands bring awareness about what the word is (if they do know the deep meaning of the word) Ahyeon a 16 year old who can learn from this experience.
I believe Ahyeon did not have any ill intentions
Lmaooo. K-netz suddenly went for Shuhua after she's starting to gain fame.
They just hate it when a foreigner gains fame.
2:13 bro the group isnt even coming back
I don't normalize racism but hey don't even hate and give death threats to a frickin child. Most of the people just saw the video without even knowing if it's actually intentional or not, not because someone is fluent in English it doesn't mean that she is obligated to know the n word. She is just a minor, so educate her, not to the point where you cancelled her. And if yall want her to apologize, please consider that she is still just a trainee. It's up to the company wether they want to publicize the apology or not.
I suggest black people start using the n word less in their songs since it's so offensive to them
Exo CBX terminate their contract with SM
Shuhau is a little Bi#@h! She's going to find out real quick to get off her high horse. Netizens and fans won't put up with it. Sorry, but it puts a bad light on the other girls. Sorry, but true. I'm sure they were embarrassed as hell!
cancel minor who dont know the meaning of Nwords. but defending adult who racist AF is fvcking bullshi (RM & Chaeyoung)
can't defend ahyeon for that-shes still so young..
Yiren should just leave the group at this point, they haven't been able to have a comeback because of Yiren and Aisha's bullying accusations but then they got cleared. Everglow haven't had a comeback in so long, Yiren was already gone for so long.
I hope everything goes well with ahyeon and that she will apologies
Omg leave the girl alone. It’s all about context. It’s in a song, what do you expect her to do? Black peoples calls themselves the N word 27/7 if the word is so offensive, why is in the lyrics of rap music 🤔🤦♀️
You guys need to understand that Ahyeon is still a minor kid. 15/16 years old if I'm not mistaken. She just performed. She doesn't deserved to get the hate and death threats. The young talent didn't even debuted yet. It's okay to correct her so that she can grow and learn from her mistakes. But death threats? Oh cmon. We could have done much better to help the young kid but not to bring her down.
Shuhua should actually learn to behave being honest and bold is only good if you're not tryna act superior or mean atp people are just trying to cover her bad behaviour and she's riding high on it
Regarding ahyeon she's someone who knows English well and I'm sure knows that saying this particular racial slur is offensive no she shouldn't be excused she and her company should apologise and promise to learn from this
The fact she did this in her school and not even in a company uploaded video makes it all the way more worse
Girls like her think it's cool and fun to say racial slurs but guess what??? It's not
Companies atleast should pay attention to all these before debuting them
Learn something from stayc they did a cover of kiss me more and never once spoke the n-word despite coming from a small company and not being fluent in English. This is RESPECT.
I wasn't sure about the N-word, so I explored the issue with AI. I realized that this is a very sensitive and difficult issue with diverse opinions even among blacks. Along with the importance of Ahyeon getting a chance to learn, AI also noted the importance of Nicki Minaj's responsibility.
You Kpop fans don’t care about black people and this comment sections shows it
Still wondering how Kpop companies (and just the Korean education system in general) doesn’t educate kids on racial sensitivity- at least that way people can’t defend their actions as “they didn’t know”
