JinJin. Astro was one of the first K-Pop groups to introduce me to a world of music that I had been oblivious to all of those years prior. You are one of the first great leaders that I’ve gotten the opportunity to spend time with and get to really know. You’ve changed me so much since I discovered you and it’s only been a few years since I decided to support Astro. I believe your musicality is what stood out to me first. You are a natural-born rapper and really understand the art of rap. You have such a raspy, defined voice that is just perfect to exercise the effect that rap can have on people. You have such a diverse flow and way that you use your voice to tell your story. You are also a gifted singer as well. You find a way to be able to blend rap and vocals to create such a fresh sound to Astro’s music. I often think of the group’s songs to be quite elegant, and you bring out the beauty in each song with the power of your voice. You bring a different style to each Astro song and they would not be complete without you. No matter the genre or mood of the song, you capture it effortlessly by letting your voice guide you through the song. You bring so much energy and balance to each of your songs and each time I hear your voice, I am hearing the song in a different way again. Your dancing abilities are just as wondrous and groundbreaking. What I love about you is that you are very athletic dancer. Astro’s choreographies tend to be very upbeat and fast-paced and you can keep the intensity for each one from start to finish, no matter how many times you execute them. I know that you are experienced in dancing, and can move your body in ways that I’ve not seen other performers be able to. In this way, you bring a surprise to each Astro choreography and bring excitement to each ones. You are the reason behind brightness and life behind every choreography, and you are the reason that other members can feel the same way during the performance. They can bounce off of the joy you get from performing, and encourages them to give their all into each performance. Your moves are clean, and although they require precision, you carry them out so naturally and loosely. You are really in your element when you are dancing and you can really express yourself how you want to. I know that you are passionate about dancing and that translates through when you get to share with others what you can say with only your body movements. Your facial expressions also capture the mood of each choreography flawlessly as well. Overall, you are an incredibly impressionable performer and you are someone who is meant to be on stage changing the world with your artistry. You bring to music a way of lyricism and individuality that others cannot and will not be able to. You are truly unique and this world is lucky to have you to share your talents with. We are so grateful to you for pursuing this side of you and using you to unlock pathways in the lives of others. At the same time, I love your personality as well. You are funny in just about every way possible. You are naturally a goofy person and this is the reason why so many people are attracted to you so easily. You can change the atmosphere of a room full of strangers in a second because of how humorous you are. You know how to bring people together in this way. This is one of the main reasons that I know you have such a sacred relationship with each of your members. At the end of the day, if they have nothing left to feel better, they have you. You are willingly at the heart and root of your members’ happiness. They could not laugh or see the beauty in each day because of you. Astro is a very cheerful group, and I know that this is because of you. You bring the members together with each other because of this too. You know how to be there for them in any way that they need. I know that there are days they’ve only been able to smile because of you. This is crucial in order to ensure Astro can keep moving forward as the best group they can be. Happiness and laughter are two of the most important gifts you can give to another persona and your members can feel genuine happiness thanks to you. The other reason that I know your members look up to you is because of how you carry yourself. You’ve had to endure the hardships of not only yourself, but five other people. I know that the members have been motivated by this because if you can go through all that you have for so many people and still be happy, they know they can too. They look up to you in ways that I don’t even know you realize sometimes. You are so strong to them and you’ve been such a reliable and consisted person to fall back on in their lives. I can see how much they love you every day because they value your happiness and content before anything else. They all have their own individual reasons for loving you, but overall, they can love each other because of you. They can be the best version of themselves with your guidance and acceptance. You have brought your members close together each day because you love them are willing to do anything for them. Because of this, they have the same mentality. They can be independent and they no that no matter what they do in live, they will be okay because they have someone who loves and supports them regardless of whatever happens. You love your Aroha in a similar way. For as long as I can remember, you make goals in order to satisfy your Aroha, and not yourself. You’ve put us first for as long no matter what, and we haven’t even done anything to deserve this. You always strive and make promises to come back as a better artist and person just for us, when we already think you are perfect. You have done more for us than we will ever be able to give back to you. You always want to improve and challenge yourself just to satisfy us, and there is no greater way to show love to us than to put yourself out there for the happiness of others. You share your music with us, and the fact that you entrust us with that you are most passionate about, already speaks so much about what we mean to you. In every opportunity that you get to communicate with us, you fill it with memories as if it is the last time you’ll ever get to see us. We can feel so much how you cherish us and how you do more for us than you do for yourself sometimes. You inspire us in more ways than we will ever be able to describe. We can follow our dreams because of you. There is no better way you could love us than what you are doing now, and we couldn’t ask more of you if we wanted to. You are more than enough and we ofter have to question what we did to deserve the way you make us feel. I want to thank your parents and family for raising you, because you are spreading the same love and generosity that they so clearly instilled in you with the rest of the world. I know that they have taught you what you know and that you can use your platform for good because of them. I know they stay on your mind throughout your journey, and you must wonder what they think. I can say, without even knowing them that they are the most proud of you than anyone in this world. They always watch you with great interest and you are honoring all that they’ve taught you by the way you help others find their purpose. I hope that you never doubt this! They love you more than anybody else in this world, and they will be proud of you no matter what! We know that you have gone through so much, both professionally and personally. You have gone through likely more than you have prepared to; and this is on behalf of your members as well. We, as Aroha, like your parents, could not be more proud of you. You are so strong, brave, and resilient for making it through all your hardships just to be where you are and to have accomplished all that you have. You’ve made it through and persevered through so much. Most notably, you learn from it and teach others to do the same. I hope that this birthday is everything that you dream for it to be and it fulfills all your wishes. I hope that you feel the love surrounded by the people around you and you feel the love of your Aroha fill your heart from all across the world! I hope that you can relax, and celebrate you!
